Phuket Legal Firm
Legal Fee & Consultation
Every legal matter is different. Professional fees depend on the nature of the work, complexity, documents, urgency and whether the matter involves negotiation, government procedures or court proceedings.
We aim to explain the scope of work and professional fees before substantive work begins.
Consultation Process
Initial Contact → Initial Review → Consultation → Scope & Fee → Engagement
External Expenses
Professional fees may not include court fees, government fees, registration fees, translation, interpreters, experts, auditors, courier, travel, certification, legalisation or other third-party costs unless expressly stated.
Urgent Work
Tell us the exact deadline and reason. Examples include court deadlines, appeals, police summons, immigration deadlines, work permit expiry, property transfer, contract signing or evidence at risk.
Scope Matters
One service does not automatically include every related later procedure. For example, trial representation does not automatically include appeal; judgment does not automatically include enforcement; company registration does not automatically include accounting.
No Guarantee of Outcome
Payment of professional fees does not guarantee a court result, visa, work permit, licence, government approval or recovery of money.
Professional Fee Structures
- Fixed fee for defined work
- Consultation fee
- Fee by stage
- Ongoing professional service fee
- Litigation fee
- Other agreed structure
Engagement Disclaimer
Sending documents does not by itself create a lawyer-client relationship or mean that Phuket Legal Firm has accepted responsibility for a deadline. Engagement is subject to acceptance, conflict checks, agreed scope and fee arrangements.
