Foreign investors should determine whether their proposed activities require a Foreign Business Licence (FBL), Foreign Business Certificate (FBC), investment promotion, treaty-based treatment, sector-specific licence or another regulatory approval. The correct route depends on the investor's nationality, ownership structure, actual business activities and the legal basis relied upon.

A Thai company can be properly registered while a particular foreign-controlled business activity remains restricted. We therefore review the intended operations, not merely the wording of the company's registered objectives.

Buying Property

Foreign clients should obtain independent legal advice before committing substantial funds. Thai law restricts foreign ownership of land, and we do not recommend structures intended to conceal beneficial ownership or circumvent legal restrictions.

Starting a Business

Company registration should be considered together with foreign business restrictions, licensing, visa, work permit, accounting, tax, payroll and social security.

Legal Disputes

We represent foreign clients in Thai civil and criminal matters. If you receive Thai court or police documents, send the complete documents promptly.

You Are Overseas

Many matters can begin with remote consultation and document review. Some steps may be handled by authorised representatives or Powers of Attorney where legally possible; others may require personal attendance.
